Yoga Therapy

A yoga practice catered specifically to you.  This tailored yoga practice can bring balance to the body and equanimity for the mind resulting in more “flow” in your life.  Yoga therapy sessions are not designed to be a “workout” or replace your physical exercise routines.  Rather they are a way to explore your unique capabilities and learn how to work with your individual setbacks in a way that increases productivity and pleasure in your life.  In these sessions, you can expect to set goals and move toward them at a pace that is right for you.

Pre/Postnatal Yoga

I specialize in yoga for the pelvic floor and in working with mothers in ANY stage of motherhood.  Whether it’s prenatal work to prime your body and mind for the birth of a child, or postnatal work to help nourish your well-being during the demands of motherhood, OR navigating the world of hormonal shifts later on in life - I can help you maintain fluidity and strength through the process.  Prenatal sessions as early as pre-conception; Postnatal sessions can start as early as 3 months* postpartum. Mothers are always welcome to bring their babies to sessions.
*postnatal sessions require a release from your care provider

Breath and Meditation

These two facets of yoga are incorporated in most yoga sessions.  However, if you are specifically interested in setting up a meditation and/or breathing practice, I can help!  Meditation is simple, but it’s not easy and I can take you on a step-by-step journey toward developing a practice (which will likely involve some breath work as well).  To find out more about how meditation and breathing practices can help you, check out this article.
